R&B singer Chris Brown caused an uproar at Good Morning America this morning after ABC News anchor Robin Roberts asked him about the criminal case against him.
Brown appeared on Good Morning America to promote his new album “F.A.M.E.,” released today.
All Brown said in response to Roberts on the show was, “It’s not really a big deal to me now, as far as that situation. I think I’m past that in my life.”
Once he was backstage, Brown stormed into his dressing room and started screaming, ABC News reported.
He smashed a window at the studio and shattered glass fell onto 43rd and Broadway, according to ABC News.
In August 2009, Brown plead guilty to felony assault of then-girlfriend pop singer Rihanna.
Brown completed a court-ordered 52-week domestic violence education program and 180 hours of community service.
Less than one month ago, a Los Angeles judge commended Brown for his progress and downgraded his restraining order.
It is unclear if Brown’s New York uproar will effect his criminal case.
