The 21 Choices frozen yogurt store near USC offers unique flavors daily. On Wednesday, the the store also wanted its choices be a little newsworthy.

Out of the six flavors offered on Wednesday’s menu, one had a headline that most USC students have become familiar with: Sex on the Roof.

Each morning the managers and yogurt chefs of a 21 Choices will think up ideas for the daily flavors. Tracy Le, a 21 Choices manager at the location by USC, said the idea for Sex on the Roof came from her boss plus some input from others.

“We usually try to come up with creative choices and I know one of the alcoholic drinks at the bar is Sex on the Beach,” Le said. “My boss came up with the idea because of the recent scandal and thought we could change up the title and call it Sex on the Roof instead.”

The “scandal” mentioned is one ATVN has been covering extensively. A USC student was photographed having sex with a young woman on top of the tallest building on campus, Waite Phillips Hall.

Le said 21 Choices usually likes to twist recipes and names around to create unique menu additions. The Sex on the Roof choice, which happens to be made with strawberries, cherries, orange juice, peach schnapps and vodka, proved to be a popular choice for the day,

“A lot of people coming in are pretty OK with it. They laugh about it and take pictures,” Le said.

She also said the choice was creative and not meant to be offensive.

“People get a kick out of it!” she laughed. “Its also a pretty good flavor. I didn’t think it would taste good because of the vodka but it does taste good.”
